About onboard
It is usually "about us" but in this case this is just "about me". I'm Matt, a software and data engineer. A few years ago my career got tied up with Iceland and it's been a great journey ever since. I love building useful things, and a job board that collects every tech posting in one place seemed like a useful thing to build.
What jobs are collected and where do they come from?
All the jobs broadly related to tech and digital infrastructure. They come from direct career sites of over 100 companies, from LinkedIn, from all the major job boards and recruitment agencies in Iceland.
Some of the jobs are incorrectly classified?
That is possible. LLMs are used to classify the jobs on multiple different dimensions (category, seniority, work mode etc.) and contrary to what we can hear everywhere they are not superior form of intelligence - they make mistakes. I will be working on improving the accuracy but in the meantime always feel free to reach out if some job related information is just wrong.
