Commissioning Manager – Data Centre | Iceland

I’m supporting a major Data Centre development in Iceland and looking to speak with experienced Commissioning Managers / Commissioning Leads for an upcoming phase of the project.

This is a senior site-based position responsible for driving commissioning readiness and execution across a complex, multidisciplinary Data Centre environment, coordinating construction, vendors, controls, operations and commissioning teams through to final handover.

The scope will include:

• Leading multidisciplinary Electrical & Mechanical commissioning
• Managing L1–L5 commissioning activities
• Commissioning readiness, schedules and look-ahead planning
• Identifying constraints and driving actions to protect key milestones
• Reviewing commissioning plans, test procedures and documentation
• Coordinating specialist vendors and subcontractors
• Energization and systems testing
• BMS / controls integration
• Integrated Systems Testing (IST)
• Managing defects, punch lists and commissioning close-out
• Test packs, turnover documentation and handover
• Coordination with client, construction and operational teams

What I’m looking for:

Strong previous experience delivering Data Centre / Mission Critical commissioning projects is essential. You should be comfortable taking ownership at site level, challenging programme and readiness issues, and coordinating multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced construction environment.

Experience taking projects through late-stage commissioning and handover will be particularly valuable.
